Track & Field – coached by Ms. Law, Mr. Gibbs, & Ms. Mazza

It is our pleasure and with much excitement to offer Spring 2022 Track & Field Season! We will have three coaches this year; Coach Law, Coach Gibbs and Coach Mazza!

Our information meeting will be held next Tuesday, April 5, 2022 right after school in front of the library. This meeting is for students only (Grades 5-8) and will take no longer than 25 minutes, so we ask that your student’s transportation after school be planned with that in mind.

During this meeting health forms, participation requirements, reiterations of expectations, meeting information and practice schedules will be shared and explained.

A copy of the aforementioned will be sent home that day as well.  As grateful as we are for the turn out we had for Cross Country this past Fall, it is imperative that our assessments of students are based on not only MIAA guidelines, but also coachability, behavior/conduct in school and a desire to be a part of a team.

We have such an incredible community here at Hunking and we need to ensure that student’s conduct, academics and coachability take precedence when representing our school.

Lastly, if your student participated in any sport this school year they are not required to fill out another health form, as they are good for one school year (2021-2022.) We are looking forward to a fun season and thank you  for your continued support and allowing us to coach with your amazing students!

Respectfully,

Coach Law, Coach Gibbs & Coach Mazza
