Bobcat Bulletin 8/12/22

It is hard to believe, but we are just over 2 weeks away from the start of the school year! With that day approaching quickly, we want to share and/or remind you of some important information:

Summer Home Visits: I have now had the honor of conducting over 30 home visits with Hunking students and families. I am extremely grateful to all of the families that I have already had the opportunity to visit with throughout this summer. I have appreciated the opportunity to begin building those relationships and connections with you and your students, and equally appreciate all of the information and feedback that you have shared.

I only have about 5 slots remaining to sign up for a visit over these next couple of weeks. If you are interested, please click the link where you can sign up for a date and time for me to come out to your home.

1st Annual Hunking Block Party

School Hours: 8:30am-2:45pm

Students may be dropped off beginning at 8:00am and are considered tardy if they arrive after 8:30am. Specific information regarding drop off and pick up procedures will be sent to families and posted here in the upcoming weeks before school.

Class Assignments: Class assignments will be shared through the community portal in late August.

**Disclaimer: All classroom assignments are made with great care by our staff each May and June. In the case of students coming from Bradford Elementary or other Haverhill schools, our staff has collaborated with the staff of the sending schools to complete the best placement possible.

However, these groups are not final. They will continue to change as new students enroll or withdraw over the course of the next couple of weeks. The Schoolbrains assignments may not be 100% accurate at this point. I will notify families prior to the start of school letting you know that the assignments are up to date.

Kindergarten News: The first day of kindergarten is Wednesday, September 7th!

Incoming kindergarten students participate in a screening prior to school beginning. This is an opportunity for the staff to get to know your child. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Please include your child’s name when signing up for a slot.
