Caleb Dustin Hunking School
A Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
Good afternoon, last year we lost an amazing educator and wonderful person at Hunking. Angela Iannalfo worked at Hunking as a Special Education teacher and then as our ETF in charge of Special Education. She was a loving person and an amazing support to all of our staff, students and parents. She passed away in the early fall and it was devastating to the Hunking staff and to all who knew her. Angela’s family has put together a memorial 5K walk/run in her honor. All Hunking families are invited to come and participate in Angela’s honor. Please see the message below:
Our first annual All For Ang memorial 5k Run/Walk Race is coming up on Saturday November 4, 2018 at the Bradford Country Club in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Our event is to honor and celebrate the life and work of Angela. All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to Haverhill Public Schools and the Lynn Economic Opportunity. The success of this event relies on the kindness and generosity of our sponsors and attendees. We are hoping to have 300 people in attendance and would love your support.
As you know, Angela’s life was one that was filled with many wonderful accomplishments. A beautiful family, incredible friends, and a career in education that touched the lives of so many are just a few of the things that made Angela’s life so special. At the heart of all aspects of Angela’s life was love. Angela LOVED her family. Angela LOVED hosting parties for her friends. Angela LOVED the beach. Angela LOVED running and, of course, Angela LOVED Lemon Drop Martinis. Perhaps Angela’s biggest love was children. The love and pride that she had for Freddie, Ava, and Ali will never be forgotten. However, Angela’s love for children did not end with her own. Angela had an unrelenting love and compassion for all the children she encountered in her teaching career. It is with all this love in mind that the proceeds from this year’s event will go to benefit the children of Haverhill Public Schools and the Lynn Economic Opportunity.
We are hoping that you could assist us in reaching as many of her colleagues and students by sharing this information with your staff. We have flyers, that I would gladly bring to Hunking, so that they could be displayed as another way of awareness for the event. We truly are grateful for all you have done in supporting our family through this difficult time and hope that you can embrace this as a way to carry Angela’s love and memory forward.
All registration and event details are outlined on our website; AllforAng.com.
Please feel free to share the site through any social media access available, we welcome the exposure to carry on in fulfilling causes that were so important to Ang.
With deepest appreciation,
Terri Schena, Angela’s mother
